Pancake Friday is a tradition my family has every Friday morning. We make enticing designs. Popping out of the oven they smell ecstatic. The taste of the pancake are invigorating when they crawl into your mouth. It is like a swirl of colors blending together. This symbolizes family because we don’t do Pancake Friday unless everyone is at home for breakfast.
My two-foot tall golf trophy is one of the reasons my dad, my two grandfathers, and I love to play golf. The reason that is, is because when we look at it, it reminds us how far we have come in the game of golf. When we are out playing we make up games and putting contests to win money from each other. This symbolizes my hobbies because, golf is one of the things I do in my free time.
My pets mean so much to my family. My past dogs (Elwood and Jamima) both labs and my past cat (Edward) were always very ecstatic. Every year Edward would always pounce into our Christmas tree like a lion hunting a zebra. Jamima was our hunting dog that bonded into the water after the bird. She loved the water under her feet. Elwood would role on his back every time we would rake leaves in the fall. Indy (my current dog) roles on his back whenever he has some thing in his mouth. He also loves to hunt in the water. I bet if he could pounce into our Christmas tree, he would. My pets symbolize love because they are always ecstatic and loving.
Everybody in my family has something from Apple inc. I have the new iPod touch that I saved $299 for, all by myself. Recently my family has every iGizmo ever made, or at least it feels like it. My favorite iGizmo is our iPad. I love its big HD screen. This symbolizes my love for technology because I believe that one-day technology will save mankind.
When we decorate our Christmas tree every year we put all kinds of ornaments on it. We put normal ornaments and unique ornaments. We even put an ornament on our tree that looks like a Labrador. Every year we put a Santa hat on the top of our tree. This symbolizes my family’s beliefs because we believe in magic and Christmas is a magical time.
